While We Are Waiting for a Direction from God

I find meaning in this song. I have been in a time of 'in between'. I have been waiting for the right moment, or the right word from God. Waiting for things to fall into place. It's funny because I don't find myself as superstitious, but it seems that this practice of seeking God's will is sometimes that. This song helps with those times. It asks the question, "what am I going to do while I wait?" and "what might I do in the in between?" and "how might I instill value into now?" It's not about being busy to be busy. It's about continuing the way of Jesus even in times of waiting. It's about loving my neighbor and my enemy. It's about not getting overly bent out of shape because life isn't going 'my way.' It's about stepping forward with the building of character, so that we might be stronger when difficult times may come.
